Up next, The Misanthrope

Join us for our next theatrical adventure, written by Moliere, directed by Brett Landis.

The Story: In a world of social media and posts about how good life is, Alceste insists on speaking the ugly truth to people. This complicates his relationship with the beautiful and flirtatious Celimene, a successful influencer, as he competes with other influencers and aspiring musicians for her love and attention. Meanwhile, Celimene combats the judgmental plots of the Christian influencer Arsinoe who is trying to bring her down, due to her own love for Alceste. Alceste’s and Celimene’s sensible friends Philinte and Eliante try to bring everyone to their senses in this crazy world of posts, DMs, and fragile reputations. But will they be successful in helping
everyone be #blessed, or will Alceste end up heartbroken and going off the grid?

We are so excited about receiving this distinction from our beloved community. As Yellow Scene Magazine explains, community members vote for their preferred theater by writing in their vote, no drop-down menus or multiple days of submitting votes.

We are passionate about putting on thoughtful, fun, engaging, and unique shows, and this award shows us our hard work paid off. Thank you to all who voted, it means the world to us.

We can't wait to continue putting on more productions that tickle the senses and inspire the mind. Thank you, from all of us at TCL.
