What’s wrong with our lighting system? It bleeds! The control system is forty years old and they don’t make replacement parts for it any more. We’ve kluged things together to keep it running – for the moment at least -- but things are getting desperate. And there are lots of things we can’t do to delight you at our plays. For example, when we try to turn the lights off completely, say to surprise you with something that has appeared onstage during a scene change, the lights “bleed” (continue to glow). So there goes the surprise. In all, we need $10,000 to replace the critical parts of our lighting system. But we’re working on it, and we’re starting to make progress. Please make a tax-deductible donation to the TCL Lighting Fund. Donate now, safely and securely. |
